Fish Fritter Submarine

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup mayo
  • 3 tbsps onion (grated)
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill (chopped)
  • 3 tbsps dill pickle (diced)
  • 1 in brine
  • 2 tsps capers
  • 1 tbsp juice (caper)
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage (finely)
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp malt vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsps malt vinegar
  • 11/2 bos fish fritter
  • vegetable oil (for pan frying)
  • flour for dusting (A little, the fish before battering)
  • 12 inches sandwich buns (submarine, sliced lengthwise and grilled just a bit to heat through just before assembling the sandwich)
  • sliced tomatoes (Thinly)
  • malt vinegar (Additional, for sprinkling on the fish)
  • cabbage (The, mixture)
